About HJ's Aussies!
I've bred and raised Aussies, and owned a herding breed line, for roughly 20 years. My family and I have committed to bettering the breed standard and building the breed in our area and have made this our full time passion. Our dogs live life alongside us. They are pets first, breeding is secondary. Our dogs and puppies are free to roam our 40 acre farm, and spend their days enjoying life as members of our family, with every litter being born and raised in our home, engaged with the family and learning to navigate life as additions to our home. We function as a family based operation, with small children interacting and handling pups from birth.Our goal is to provide each of our dogs with the best life possible. In the beginning when my Program was smaller, I kept all of my retired dogs, but now I will consider and have placed retired Dams and Sires to past HJ's Aussies buyers who have proven their dedication and devotion to my puppies throughout the years.
I do not offer full breeding rights simply because it's requested. Full Breeding Rights must be approved, and for those just beginning, I will mentor those that wish to do this properly and perform the necessary testing and provide the best environment and essentials needed to not only breed, but raise healthy and happy puppies to be lifelong members to families given the opportunity to own one. I screen every family that wants a puppy to make sure they are knowledgeable on the breed and will be able to work with the breed characteristics, and not against it. I have a contract that will be required to be signed stating the health guarantee, as well as my policy on spaying and neutering. There is not to be any flipping or selling of my pups after purchase.
